Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting’s time with Paris Saint-Germain officially came to an end on Monday when he signed with FC Bayern Munich. Choupo-Moting’s deal with the reigning Bundesliga champions is for one season, as he is set to once again become a free agent next year.
Choupo-Moting had hoped to return to PSG after his contract expired, but the two sides were unable to reach an agreement on a new deal.
Choupo-Moting left PSG with four trophy wins in two seasons and memories that club supporters will not be forgetting anytime soon, including his clutch goal against Atalanta in the UEFA Champions League knockout stage last season.
On Monday, the Bayern Munich forward posted one final goodbye message on social media to PSG and its supporters. The message read: “A big thank you to the whole club PSG, my teammates, the technical staff, the managers and of course the supporters! It was a great pleasure that will remain unforgettable for me!”
Choupo-Moting is sure to add to his trophy case at Bayern Munich.
