After Paris Saint-Germain decided not to meet the demands Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting, who was asking for a two-year deal to come back to Paris, the capital club remains without a backup striker.
Before the match against OGC Nice, manager Thomas Tuchel made it clear that he hopes someone can assume the striker’s role whenever Mauro Icardi cannot play or move inside when the 27-year-old is substituted out of the match.
Tuchel may have made a broad statement, but the German manager spoke with the media after their win over Nice and stated that he’s hopeful that Kylian Mbappé can become that second striker.
