Thomas Tuchel is entering his third season as the Paris Saint-Germain manager, and it’s not often you see the 47-year-old make a sassy remark towards an opponent before a match.
However, it may seem that seeing the celebration from players and supporters of Olympique de Marseille after PSG fell 1-0 to FC Bayern Munich in the UEFA Champions League final may have caused Tuchel to bring out his inner snarky self.
“If they celebrate our defeats, it is because they have nothing to celebrate,” Tuchel said in his press conference.
Many capital club supporters are hoping for a blow out against Marseille, so here’s to Tuchel putting the right game plan that will see the squad win by two or three goals.
