Report: PSG Showing Interest in Juventus Midfielder

With the hiring of Andrea Pirlo, Juventus FC is beginning to clean house on some of their older players. Gonzalo Higuaín and former Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Blaise Matuidi both left the Italian club for Inter Miami of Major League Soccer.

According to Sky SportSami Khedira is the next player that could potentially be departing with a few weeks left until the summer transfer window closes as Pirlo isn’t including the German international isn’t in his plans.

The 33-year-old is under contract until June 30, 2021, and currently has an annual salary of €6-million; and could land on his feet with Paris Saint-Germain due to his working relationship with manager Thomas Tuchel along with having two countrymen on the squad in Julian Draxler and Thilo Kehrer.

Khedira will be an affordable buy whether the capital club decided to pay a transfer fee or Juventus decides to release him. Nonetheless, he shouldn’t be the lone addition to the midfield as Les Parisiens Khedira will need at least another move as they continue to improve the position.
