Marcin Bulka has extended his contract with Paris Saint-Germain until 2025, and, as a result, the 21-year-old will head out on loan to FC Cartagena, a second division Spanish club.
The Poland international arrived last summer on a free transfer from Chelsea FC to serve as the third goalkeeper. Playing behind Keylor Navas and Sergio Rico, Bulka had few opportunities to shine for the capital club. With PSG making Rico’s stay a permanent one, it was clear that Bulka needed to head out on loan to receive minutes.

However, before loaning him out, Les Parisiens needed to re-sign their young goalkeeper, which they could do. Bulka is now heading to Cartagena, who is currently in 19th place, so safe to say he will see plenty of action with a club that’s struggling at the moment.
Now PSG can see whether or not the Poland international can be a starting goalkeeper, who can eventually succeed Navas when his contract expires in 2023.
