Paris Saint-Germain manager Thomas Tuchel spoke with the media where Canal Supporters relayed his words on the eve of their UEFA Champions League quarterfinal against Atalanta BC.
One of the questions that someone in the media asked the German was over Neymar Jr. Ángel Di María will miss the match due to suspension. A calf injury will sideline Marco Verratti, and Kylian Mbappé only available for a certain amount of minutes.
The pressure will fall on the shoulders of the Brazil international to carry the capital club; however, Tuchel mentions that it’s something Neymar is someone who enjoys playing with pressure.
“I have the impression that there is always pressure on him. He’s a guy who likes it and is used to playing with that pressure. We’re happy that Kylian is here and that we have the opportunity to finish the game with him. They like to play together,” Tuchel said. “I feel like he can handle this pressure. He likes big decisive matches. I’m sure he’s going to play a great game and be one of the key players because he’s got the motivation for that. ”
