Ander Herrera was the player representative who joined manager Thomas Tuchel to speak with the media as Paris Saint-Germain’s UEFA Champions League semi-final against RB Leipzig, where Canal Supporters relayed Herrera’s comments.
For the first time since 1995, Les Parisiens find themselves in the final four of the tournament. The 30-year-old midfielder answered that despite this being unchartered territory, the squad isn’t feeling the pressure. He adds that they’ve won the league along with their domestic cups. Now they’re chasing a dream Herrera states.
“I don’t want to talk about pressure. It’s above all a dream to be here in the Champions League semi-finals. It’s a great possibility to play a semi-final after 25 years without being there for the group,” Herrera said. “We cannot always speak of pressure. Each year, several clubs do not win. We won the national titles. We played well, now we have a dream, no pressure.”
