After FC Barcelona crashed out of the UEFA Champions League in humiliating fashion losing 8-2 to FC Bayern Munich. It was a matter of time before the Neymar Jr. to Barca rumors would start heating up again.
Barca president Josep Maria Bartomeu and the rest of their board are looking to get back in their supporters’ good graciousness, according to Sport. Over the last two seasons, rumors of a return to Spain have always surfaced, but nothing has materialized.
The Spanish media outlet reports that Barca would want to use Antoine Griezmann plus a sum that’s between €50 and €60 million to entice PSG to sell Neymar. If that’s the proposal, then capital club sporting director Leonardo should hang up the phone.
Les Parisiens, at the moment, shouldn’t be in the market to sell Neymar. The 28-year-old is enjoying his time with Paris Saint-Germain after a rocky summer and start to the 2019-20 season. The Brazil international is a leader, who enjoys spending time with his teammates, whether during training sessions, matchdays, or in their free time.
Furthermore, PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi has gone on to say that Neymar, along with Kylian Mbappé, will stay and will never leave.
