Paris Saint-Germain is now gradually receiving good news regarding its current injury crisis. According to RMC Sport‘s Loic Tanzi, forward Mauro Icardi and defender Thilo Kehrer took part in PSG’s scheduled training session on Saturday. It went well for both players as it was just another normal training session for the two. They each were not limited during training.
Both players are not dealing with any significant injury issues but the club is being cautious with their health. Icardi was subbed off during last week’s Coupe de la Ligue final as a slight precaution due to fitness issues. Meanwhile, Kehrer has been dealing with a right hip bone bruise that he suffered during the Coupe de France final. However, he did play 50 minutes in the Coupe de la Ligue final.
They each are slated to be fit and ready for the upcoming UEFA Champions League fixture against Atalanta barring no setbacks.
PSG will continue to train in Portugal as it preps for the contest on August 12.
