Video: Mbappé Admits to French President That His Ankle Isn’t Broken

French President Emmanuel Macron (R) applauds as Paris Saint-Germain's French forward Kylian Mbappe walks with crutches onto a platform for the trophy ceremony after winning the French Cup final football match between Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) and Saint-Etienne (ASSE) on July 24, 2020, at the Stade de France in Saint-Denis, outside Paris. After leaving the Coupe de France final in the first half due to a tackle from AS Saint-Étienne captain Loïc Perrin, many Paris Saint-Germain supporters want to know the severity of Kylian Mbappé’s injury.

It seems that France’s President Emmanuel Macron also wanted to know the status of the 21-year-old’s ankle. When the capital club was on the podium receiving their medals and the Coupe de France trophy, Macrone asked the PSG forward how he’s feeling.

Mbappé confines with the president that his ankle cracked a bit, but doesn’t believe that any is broken, so that will allow supporters to breathe a bit easier. However, now the question is, will the forward be ready for the UEFA Champions League quarterfinals matchup versus Atalanta BC.
