On this day seven years ago, Paris Saint-Germain completed one of its greatest transfer signings in club history. The club signed Edinson Cavani on July 16, 2013 after he spent three productive seasons with Serie A side Napoli.
Many fans remember that day well, and so does Cavani. On Twitter, the Uruguayan striker posted a nostalgic video remembering the memorable day. The post read: “Seven years ago today, a beautiful story began to be written.”

The video featured some of Cavani’s top highlights with PSG, including his world-class goals against AS Monaco and his multiple trophy celebrations with the club.
Cavani ended his PSG career with 200 goals scored and 19 trophies won.
