On Monday, it was made official by Paris Saint-Germain that Kylian Mbappé will be out three weeks due to his ankle injury. This likely means that the 21-year-old forward will miss the UEFA Champions League quarterfinals matchup against Atalanta BC.
This news brought out the “of course this happens to PSG” feeling from some of the supporters. Over the last couple of seasons, there’s always some injuries that prevent this squad from playing at full strength.
However, there are so that believe that Les Parisiens can still get past the Italian club. With Neymar Jr. looking like he’s at the top of his game and having fun playing football, some hope the Brazil international will put the squad on his back. The 28-year-old did so over two fixtures in the Champions League Round of 16 versus Borussia Dortmund, here’s hoping he will do it again.
These are some of the reactions from Twitter about the announcement of Mbappé’s ankle injury update.

After Mbappe, now Angel di Maria is ruled out for PSG's quarter-final clash against Atalanta. But you know what, I've heard somewhere –

PSG’s worst opponents in Champions League are the other Ligue1 teams who every year injure our key players before important matches. @ASSEofficiel you have blood on your hands. I hate to put it so bluntly, but the level of their aggression was outrageous.
