Report: PSG Monitoring Manchester City and Arsenal Transfer Target

Paris Saint-Germain is scouring the transfer market for available center-backs, and it now has its sights set on one coveted Bundesliga defender.

According to Le10Sport, PSG is monitoring the situation with RB Leipzig center-back Dayot Upamecano. PSG is reportedly in the process of convincing the French defender to join the club.

However, such a deal would not be an effortless one for PSG to complete considering the number of teams that are also tracking Upamecano. Per the report, Manchester City and Arsenal are two teams that have shown interest in pulling off such a transfer deal. Chelsea is also keeping tabs on the situation at hand.

RB Leipzig has so far not engaged in serious transfer talks with any of the four clubs mentioned for the center-back.

Upamecano is coming off of his fourth season with Leipzig. He tallied 28 appearances in Bundesliga play, and he notched a 1.68 tackles won per 90 rate. He emerged as one of the premier passing defenders in the league with a 24.2 long balls completed per 90 rate.
