Official: Kimpembe Extends Contract With PSG Until 2024

Presnel Kimpembe has spent his entire career with Paris Saint-Germain and it appears he is in no hurry to leave any time soon.

Announced on the club’s official website, Kimpembe has signed a contract extension that will keep him in the French capital until 2024.

The 24-year-old Kimpembe is already a FIFA World Cup winner and has made 136 appearances with PSG. During his tenure thus far, Kimpembe has won a total of 13 trophies with Les Parisiens, including five Ligue 1 titles.

Kimpembe’s extension until 2024 aligns his contract with that of fellow PSG superstars Marco Verratti and Marquinhos. With Kimpembe likely taking over the starting center-back role from Thiago Silva who will leave at the end of the season, PSG has locked in the spine of their team for years to come.

With additional signings this offseason, it’s very possible that Kylian Mbappé and Neymar Jr. look around and realize PSG has built something very special and it’s worth sticking around for.
