Manchester City Joins PSG in Pursuit of Juventus Forward

Paris Saint-Germain is currently not in desperate need of a wide forward. PSG has multiple players on its roster who can occupy spaces out, and it also has several up-and-coming prospects who have the potential to do the same. But according to one recent report, PSG may still look to bring in such a player to the team.

According to Tuttosport, PSG has shown interest in Juventus forward Douglas Costa. Per the report, PSG is not the only club that has considered a possible move for the Brazilian. With Leroy Sane’s recent move to FC Bayern Munich, Manchester City has also been linked with the Brazilian talent.

As the report continues, Juventus aspires to sell Costa, so it can then reinvest such funds to acquire a striker, such as Wolverhampton’s Raul Jimenez or AS Roma’s Edin Dzeko.

Injuries have hampered Costa’s season, as he has missed a bulk of time due to a muscle injury and hamstring concerns. As a result, Costa has only scored three goals in all competitions this season, with just one coming in UEFA Champions League play.
