After spending a season on loan at Real Madrid, Alphonse Areola will be looking for a new club this summer where he will want to be the starter.
Earlier this month, Le10Sport reported that two English clubs were vying for the services of Areola, Newcastle United FC and Chelsea FC. With no future at Paris Saint-Germain because of Keylor Navas mandating the net, a move to either of those clubs makes sense.
It looks as though Les Parisiens could be on the verge of selling their goalkeeper to Chelsea. On Instagram, Marrion Areola posted a picture of the family purchasing a home in London, further adding to the flames of a potential move to The Blues.
The Daily Star is reporting that PSG could fetch a €22 million transfer fee from Chelsea. With the capital club sporting director looking to land a big fish in Sergej Milinkovic-Savic, that sum could aide in their pursuit for the Serbia international midfielder.
