Video: PSG Transfer Target Scores a Stunning Long-Distance Goal Against Atalanta

We typically don’t pay much attention to Serie A unless there is a player that is rumored to be of interest to Paris Saint-Germain. On Wednesday, not only was there a massive match in the Italian league, but a PSG transfer target did something special.

Lazio is currently chasing Juventus FC for the league title and with a win over fourth-place Atalanta, they would move back within one point of the Turin-based club with 27 matches played each.

After five minutes, Atalanta scored an own-goal to put Lazio up 1-0 but in the 11th minute, Lazio would need no assistance as Sergej Milinković-Savić scored an absolute screamer to double the visitor’s lead.

To be fair, the goal came from some pretty awful defending from Atalanta. They had two players on the ball and all they had to do was make the clearance. Unfortunately for them, Luis Alberto was able to take advantage of their hesitation and deflect their pass over to Milinković-Savić. The Serbia international lined up his shot from 30-some yards out and scored a spectacular goal.

PSG fans will be aware of Milinković-Savić not only for his impressive skills but also because of the club’s interest in signing him over the past few months. The Ligue 1 champions already had a bid of €60 million rejected with €80 million being the figure that will likely get the transfer over the line.

If SMS keeps scoring goals like this, PSG may not be able to afford him altogether!
