Relatives of Mbappé ‘Tragically Affected’ By the Coronavirus

France has been the fifth-hardest hit country when it comes to confirmed cases of the coronavirus.

According to the Johns Hopkins University Coronavirus Resource Center, France has had 168,518 confirmed cases and sadly, more than 24,000 deaths.

In a recent report from L’Equipe, the French publication confirmed that Kylian Mbappé left his residence in Paris at the outbreak of the coronavirus and has been in the south of France with several members of his family in isolation.

Mbappé, who has made a very generous donation to Abbé-Pierre foundation during the pandemic, has been impacted personally by the coronavirus virus as L’Equipe revealed that “many of his relatives have since been tragically affected by the coronavirus.”

You’ll remember that prior to the second leg of PSG’s UEFA Champions League tie against Borussia Dortmund, Mbappé was ill and was tested for the coronavirus. Thankfully, it came back negative and he was able to come on as a substitute in PSG’s 2-0 over Dortmund.
