Report: Lorenzo Pellegrini Has No Interest in Leaving Roma

Transfer season is a never-ending saga with tons of twists and turns. A few days ago, reports out of Italy (via Culture PSG) linked AS Roma midfielder, Lorenzo Pellegrini, to Paris Saint-Germain.

Pellegrini is an ideal fit as he has two qualities that PSG sporting director, Leonardo, is looking for in a midfielder.

The 23-year-old stands a 6’2″ so he fits the height that the Brazilian is looking for to add. Also, the Italy international plays in Serie A, Leonardo’s preferred league to scout for recruits.

However, it seems as though Pellegrini has no interest in leaving the Italian capital. According to Corriere dello Sport (via Culture PSG), the Roma midfielder sees himself as part of the future of the club and wants to help build something special with fellow teammate Nicolò Zaniolo.

Roma is three points out of a UEFA Champions League spot, so if they can clinch a spot in Europe’s top competition, then the Italian club will likely hold on to Pellegrini.
