Galatasaray SK Ultras made their presence known on Wednesday ahead of their team’s match against Paris Saint-Germain at the Parc des Princes.
Social media lit up with disturbing videos and photos of violence between some Galatasaray and PSG supporters:
Énorme mouvement de foule des supporters du Galatasaray. Ils démontent les barrières du chantier des fontaines de la Porte de St Cloud. Échanges de fumigènes, explosifs, forte odeur de poudre, des groupes envahissent les rues adjacentes pour fuir la police. #PSGGS pic.twitter.com/9If1kB5Ca4

The disturbing scenes out of Paris were expected unfortunately with Le Parisien reporting that the match was ranked a level four out of five by UEFA on its scale of risk.
According to the French outlet, things started with the two opposing sets of fans exchanging songs, chants, and smoke and firecrackers before finally clashing on a street near the stadium.
Eventually, police had to use tear gas to disperse the crowd but the damage had been done by that time. One person had to be taken to the hospital with a serious head injury and another man was left stripped naked on the street.
On social media, some Galatasaray supporters are proud of the incident. Sadly, this isn’t the first time these sets of fans have come together in a violent manner.

PSG has nothing to play for tonight as they are at the top of the UEFA Champions League group while Galatasaray is at the bottom and fighting for a place in the UEFA Europa League. Perhaps these fans should chant at their own players who have woefully underperformed in Europe and in their domestic league where they are in sixth place. Just an idea…

Those French pussies were trying to provoke Gala fans and PSG fans attacked first and they were hiding behind the police(!) when Gala fans defended themselves. Of course Turks would be proud of defending themselves against racist French.
Do you have any proof of what you’re saying?
