Champions League: PSG’s Potential Starting XI Against Dortmund

Paris Saint-Germain will welcome Borussia Dortmund for the second leg of their UEFA Champions League quarterfinal tie. The capital club will attempt to overturn their 1-0 deficit after their first-leg loss last week.

The Parisians are going with a different attack as manager Luis Enrique tinkles with the starting 11. Le Parisien reports that Gianluigi Donnarumma remains in the goalkeeping position while the backline will consist of Achraf Hakimi and Nuno Mendes occupying the full-back positions.

The French media outlet notes that the center-backs will be Marquinhos with Lucas Beraldo, but Enrique may decide on Danilo Pereira getting the start. In the midfield, it will be a trio of Warren Zaïre-Emery, Vitinha, and Fabián Ruiz.

Finally, in the attack, Enrique will start Ousmane Dembélé and Kylian Mbappé on the wings for PSG. As for the No. 9 role, that will go to Gonçalo Ramos, as the French giants count on the Portugal international to score goals.

PSG already overturned one deficit in this knockout stage in their quarterfinal tie against FC Barcelona. They’ll be looking to do the same in the semifinals against Dortmund with a ticket to the Champions League final on the line.
