Manuel Ugarte made a strong start to his debut season with Paris Saint-Germain, quickly impressing. Yet, as the first year progressed, he found himself gradually slipping out of the starting lineup, often finding his role limited to coming off the bench.
The capital club spent €60 million to secure Ugarte from Sporting Lisbon, triumphing over competition from Chelsea in the process. Nonetheless, as the summer transfer window approaches, teams will be looking to see if the Uruguayan is available.
A recent report revealed that Juventus are interested in Ugarte and that a loan deal could be on the cards, giving Ugarte a chance to play regularly. However, they’re not the only Serie A side keen on the 23-year-old.
According to Gazzetta Dello Sport, AC Milan are interested in Ugarte, but PSG have a very clear position regarding the midfielder: no chance of a loan this summer.

Ugarte’s transfer value on Transfermarkt is €60 million. Paris Saint-Germain might need a bit more than that to let go of the player, especially considering the potential for him to return to top form in the first half of the season with a full offseason at PSG.
