PSG’s incoming business for this transfer window looks pretty much done – at least in attack.
The big thing hanging over them now is the sale of Bradley Barcola, which looks almost inevitable now his replacements are in the door. He wasn’t picked for the squad in the Trophee des Champions at the weekend, and it’s now clear that Luis Enrique isn’t going to pick him while this speculation goes on.
PSG see market falling into their hands as Liverpool run out of options
A report today from Abdelleh Boulma claims that the current asking price for the France winger is €140m. A huge number, but one Liverpool can pay. They still haven’t replaced Mo Salah in their attack, and they’ve pretty much cornered themselves into a situation where it’s Barcola or bust, with just a few days until the Premier League season kicks off.
That suits PSG just fine. They are in no rush to sell, and will be happy to let the clock run down, knowing the Reds are likely to have to pay up in the end anyway.

The Barcola replacement, Mika Godts, is already in the building and training with PSG after signing from Ajax.

The cost of leaving Barcola upset as a 6th-7th winger option with his wages sitting on the bench outweigh the cost of selling him for 30-40m cheaper.
Barcola won’t stay and PSG would have never got €170m in the first place.
€140m is a maybe, I would assume it closes on €125-130m with add-ons
Very few teams in World can buy Barcola, PSG either sell him to one of that handful of clubs or be left with a very expensive bench warmer diminishing in value. No one is paying the current PSG price, good luck on offloading at stated price

Or, perhaps Liverpool are waiting until the price drops because PSG have a player who wants to leave and have already replaced him in the squad.
LFC made mistake they should have signed world cup winner Torres from Barca for reasonable price.
So why doesn’t Barcola put in a transfer request
Please Liverpool should sign Bradley Barcola, Ibrahim Mbaye,as well as any other player the team needs, as soon as possible,as the season is about to start.
