PSG want to sell Ibrahim Mbaye, and Liverpool are interested in buying him, but things aren’t as advanced as some are making out, according to the Athletic.
There had been talk this week that Andoni Iraola’s squad have locked down the winger’s personal terms, and are ready to finalise a fee with PSG. This has been denied.

“Team-mate Mbaye has also been discussed this summer but senior Liverpool figures insist their interest has only been exploratory to date and strongly dismissed suggestions that personal terms have already been agreed with the 18-year-old,” the Transfer Deal Sheet today reads.
Liverpool’s full focus is on Bradley Barcola right now, and even though they might end up signing both players, clearly the massive deal comes first.
Scoping out what Mbaye will want if a fee is agreed is a wise idea at this stage in the window, even
PSG want to be rid of the youngster, by the sounds of things, despite his obvious talent.

The money PSG are asking for Barcola is silly/PSG and everyone around them know it…from an LFC perspective watching PSG accumulate alternatives to Barcola at cheaper prices is in itself telling…there are far better alternatives than Barcola for LFC to pursue….I am sure that PSG is waiting with baited breadth in the hope that someone/LFC fall into their trap to recoup their own outlays with one overpriced/over rated left winger…question LFC have to ask themselves is why are PSG wanting to lump two players together in a deal instead of offering/selling each separately – the reason is obvious – they desperately want to reap an unwarranted bonanza on the sale of Barcola….I hope they get stuck with him and the already top heavy parade of wingers they have. YNWA!
