PSG have focused on bringing in young French talent in recent years, signing players like Bradley Barcola, Désiré Doué, and Lucas Chevalier. That approach looks set to continue when the summer transfer window opens.

This strategy helped the Parisians become one of the top teams last season, with Barcola and Doué playing key roles in their UEFA Champions League success. Given that impact, the club appears ready to stick with the formula.

The next question is which French prospects PSG might target. A new report offers a glimpse at the players on their radar. Recently, Fichajes reports that Bournemouth’s young striker Eli Junior Kroupi is a player the capital club is interested in.

However, there’s competition for this player.

CaughtOffside reports that Kroupi is emerging as a potential summer target for Liverpool, citing sources close to the agents industry. Chelsea, Real Madrid, and PSG are all reportedly keeping a close eye on his development.

The report also mentions that scouts from Madrid and Chelsea have frequently attended Bournemouth matches this season, while PSG’s interest stretches back months, well before Kroupi made his mark in the Premier League.

Although Kroupi is tied to a contract through 2030, Bournemouth are aware of the growing interest in him.

CaughtOffside also notes that insiders at the club see the midfielder potentially becoming the Cherries’ first £70-80 million sale, a valuation fueled both by his talent and the limited supply of young, proven attackers in today’s market.
