It was a disastrous first half for PSG as they gave up two goals to Bayern Munich, with Luis Diaz scoring both. Moreover, it went from bad to worse as the Ligue 1 side are now without Achraf Hakimi, who was injured on a play by a tackle from Diaz.
Hakimi left the pitch in tears and could not put any weight on the injured left foot as he hobbled off the pitch with help. Nonetheless, after a VAR review, the referee did give Diaz a straight red card. As a result, Bayern Munich will play the second half with 10 men as PSG look to take advantage.
