The question comes down to whether Luis Enrique believes Isak is a good fit for his system. The PSG manager has preferred attacking players who are versatile enough to play any position across the front line. Ramos hasn’t played as much under Luis Enrique because he is a traditional striker. Isak is a traditional striker as well, but his 23 Premier League goals in 34 appearances might be enough for Luis Enrique to consider adapting his tactics for.
A move to PSG would be the step up that Isak is looking for. While Ligue 1 isn’t on the same level as the Premier League, PSG has elevated itself into one of the top teams in the world by winning the Champions League. Signing with PSG would also allow Isak to follow in the footsteps of his compatriot, Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
Outside of PSG, there are very few other teams with the financial resources to sign Isak. If PSG were to pull off the transfer, it would immediately elevate them to favorites to win the Champions League again.
