Defensa Central reports that Liverpool are plotting a smart move to sign Rodrygo during the summer transfer window.
According to the outlet, Liverpool are open to a potential swap deal involving Konaté and are prepared to offer €35 million (£30.2m, $41m) on top of that to land the Real Madrid forward.
The report adds that while Madrid find the proposal tempting, they would likely demand more cash if Liverpool make a formal bid. Los Blancos value Rodrygo at around €100 million.
Konatér will be free to negotiate with foreign clubs starting in January 2026. As previously reported by Foot Mercato, Konaté has already been offered to several top teams, including Real Madrid, PSG, and Barcelona, laying the groundwork for a possible 2026 departure.

If Konate wants to go then he should go now sell him do the deal with Rodrygo and take a hit on his transfer its either that or loose out all together in the summer for nothing. Some money is better than none at all.
