Manchester United and PSG are reportedly monitoring Christopher Nkunku’s situation at Chelsea, where the French forward has struggled to make an impact.

Nkunku joined Chelsea from RB Leipzig in 2023 for £52 million, but injuries and strong competition have kept him from securing regular minutes. With uncertainty growing around his future, talk of a potential move is gaining momentum.

Earlier this year, journalist Ben Jacobs reported that PSG considered bringing Nkunku back to France but ultimately passed. Bayern Munich also opted against a January deal, though Christian Falk of Sport Bild revealed that the German side could revisit the idea now that the summer window is open.

Chelsea are reportedly open to a sale if the right offer arrives, with hopes of recouping a significant portion of their initial investment. Many now view the transfer as a costly miscalculation.

According to L’Équipe, Nkunku is expected to cost between €35 million and €40 million this summer. Bayern Munich are among the few clubs Nkunku would be open to joining, but there haven’t been any concrete talks yet.

Manchester United and Inter Milan have recently made inquiries, while Bayern Munich remain interested. However, they are currently focused on other priorities.

The Mirror recently reported that Manchester United have been quoted £35 million to sign Christopher Nkunku this summer. Nkunku is on United’s shortlist of striker targets, with Chelsea prepared to take a significant loss after paying £52 million for him just two years ago.
