Manchester United could look to challenge Liverpool this summer and may take a data-driven approach as they search for a potential replacement for Darwin Nunez—possibly targeting a signing from PSG.
The French capital club, led by Luis Enrique, just wrapped up another dominant domestic season, winning both Ligue 1 and the Coupe de France for the second year in a row. On top of that, PSG claimed their first-ever Champions League title last weekend with a commanding 5-0 victory over Inter Milan, and they’re still in the mix for one more piece of silverware.
One player who could be on the move is Gonçalo Ramos. The Portuguese striker has tallied 18 goals and six assists in 41 appearances this season, but his future in Paris remains up in the air.
Could Manchester United Edge Liverpool for PSG standout?

According to journalist Graeme Bailey, Manchester United have been offered the chance to sign Ramos. PSG are reportedly open to letting him leave, and he’s already had discussions with both European and Saudi clubs.

Liverpool are reportedly considering a move for Ramos, according to Anfield Index. While the 23-year-old is not at the top of the club’s wishlist, the report claims he’s under consideration as part of a data-driven, “Moneyball”-style approach to recruitment.
Ramos joined PSG on a permanent deal following an initial loan spell, with the French club paying €65 million (approximately £54.7 million) for the Portugal international.
