Paris Saint-Germain are set to lose one of their top young talents to Manchester City’s ownership group.
RMC Sport had previously reported that 18-year-old striker Mahamadou Sangaré, a standout goal scorer for PSG’s youth teams, would be leaving the club at the end of the season.
With his youth contract expiring, Sangaré had drawn interest from multiple clubs, especially in Germany. Manchester City, however, appear to have won the race.
Mahamadou Sangaré will head to England

According to transfer insider Fabrizio Romano, City have reached a verbal agreement to sign Sangaré on a free transfer. The plan is to have him undergo a medical before potentially sending him on loan to Troyes, one of several clubs in City Football Group’s network.
Sangaré now becomes the latest exciting prospect to join the Manchester City Academy.

City Group have likely taken notice of how Chelsea have benefited from sending young players to RC Strasbourg, with the team now pushing for a Champions League place next season.
With Troyes struggling near the bottom of Ligue 2, City Group might be aiming to follow a similar path. But if they’re hoping to mirror Chelsea’s model, it’s going to require patience.
