Paris Saint-Germain seriously considered signing Christopher Nkunku during the winter transfer window but ultimately chose not to proceed. While the forward remained at Chelsea, a summer exit now seems increasingly likely.
Nkunku joined Chelsea from RB Leipzig in 2023 for £52 million but has struggled to lock down a regular starting spot, fueling ongoing speculation about his future at Stamford Bridge.
Journalist Ben Jacobs reported that PSG were genuinely interested in bringing Nkunku back, though no official offer was made. Bayern Munich also passed on making a move in January, but according to Sport Bild’s Christian Falk, the German club could revisit that interest this summer.
Chelsea’s stance on Christopher Nkunku revealed

The Sun reports that Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca is preparing for next season without Mykhailo Mudryk or Christopher Nkunku in his plans.

According to GIVE ME SPORT, which cited sources last month, Nkunku is expected to leave Chelsea when the summer transfer window opens.
Even with an extended run in the team during Nicolas Jackson’s injury spell, Nkunku has struggled to hit top form. The outlet adds that he’s come to terms with his continued struggles in the final third.
He’s now exploring potential moves and is reportedly keen to join a club with a playing style that better suits his strengths, as he has yet to find a defined role in Chelsea’s system.
