Marco Asensio continues his impressive form with Aston Villa. The Paris Saint-Germain loanee has scored in three of his last four matches in all competitions for the Premier League side, with the latest coming in the UEFA Champions League.
After Club Brugge conceded a penalty kick, Asensio stepped into the box and although the Spaniard slipped, he converted the shot. The veteran extended Aston Villa’s lead to 3-1 as they now have a stranglehold on this tie heading to Villa Park.

A bit of luck but we’ll take it that should see us through
I thought Watkins was woeful again we definitely need a quality striker in the summer, it wouldn’t bother me if we sold Watkins, otherwise a good effort and a great result but no room for complacency in the second leg
