Paris Saint-Germain’s decision to move on from Randal Kolo Muani has created an opportunity for the club to pursue a new No. 9 to pair with Gonçalo Ramos this summer.
One potential target is Juventus forward Dusan Vlahovic. According to a previous report from CaughtOffside, PSG planned to discuss the Serbian striker’s future last month. With Vlahovic yet to sign a new contract, his current price tag stands at around €65 million.
Arsenal and Manchester United are also in the race for Vlahovic, but PSG’s entry could intensify competition for his signature. However, with only one year remaining on his contract, Juventus may be forced to lower their asking price significantly.
Juventus willing to sell striker at a discount this summer
Graeme Bailey, chief correspondent at TBR Football, reported on Monday that several Premier League clubs — including Arsenal, Manchester United, Chelsea, Tottenham, Aston Villa and Newcastle — are being kept informed about Vlahovic’s potential availability.
According to TBR Football, Juventus are open to offloading the Serbian international for around £25.1 million, significantly less than the £67 million they paid to sign him in 2022.
The Turin club and Vlahovic have been in contract talks over the past year, as Juventus were eager to extend the striker’s stay. However, with Vlahovic currently the highest-paid player in Serie A and unwilling to accept a pay cut, negotiations have stalled.
