Paris Saint-Germain have been closely monitoring Bayern Munich midfielder Joshua Kimmich for months, nearly signing him last summer. Now, they are once again pushing and have reportedly made an offer.
Journalist Christian Falk previously reported that PSG’s interest in Kimmich remains strong, mainly since his contract situation at Bayern Munich is still unresolved. The Ligue 1 side targeted him last summer, but Kimmich opted against the move.
PSG’s interest has reignited, but they face competition from Inter Milan and Liverpool. Meanwhile, Bayern and Kimmich continue talks, with a contract extension still on the table.
Additionally, Mick Brown, former chief scout for Manchester United and Blackburn, told Football Insider that Arsenal are “working hard” to convince the Bayern star to join them, as he remains one of their top targets.
Does PSG have an edge for Joshua Kimmich?

According to the latest report from Falk on Kimmich’s future, the veteran has received a concrete offer from PSG. The Parisians likely want to secure the midfielder now before he enters free agency in the summer.

On Monday, TEAMtalk reported that Inter Milan are emerging as a strong contender to sign Kimmich. Moreover, the report also notes that while Inter haven’t made an official offer yet, they are in talks to present a tempting four-year deal.
Inter are reportedly ready to offer Kimmich around €6 million (£4.95 million, $6.2 million) per year—roughly £95,000 a week. This deal is similar to what Hakan Calhanoglu currently earns. However, Calhanoglu will likely leave the club this summer, so his wages will be off the books.
