Paris Saint-Germain cruised to a 3-0 win over Stade Brestois in the first leg of their UEFA Champions League knockout play-off last Tuesday at Stade de Roudourou, with Ousmane Dembélé scoring twice.

Unless Brest pulls off an unlikely comeback, PSG will face either Barcelona or Liverpool in the Round of 16. This dominant victory only adds to the growing list of impressive performances by Luis Enrique’s squad.

In their last four matches, PSG has outscored opponents 14-3, with wins over RB Salzburg, Manchester City, VfB Stuttgart, and now Brest. The Parisians will need to finish the job in the second leg before turning their attention to a potential showdown with Barcelona or Liverpool.

Should PSG get past by Brest on Wednesday night, they have to turn their focus to Barcelona or Liverpool, but they also have to monitor a key player that’s recovering from injury.

In a recent medical update, PSG midfielder Warren Zaïre-Emery continues his rehabilitation program on his left ankle. Nonetheless, it doesn’t mention if he will be out for a few days or a couple of weeks.

The Parisians will need a healthy Zaïre-Emery if they hope to advance, so if the Ligue 1 side moves past Brest on Wednesday, his injury status will be something to keep an eye on.
