Paris Saint-Germain secured their spot in the UEFA Champions League Round of 16 after a dominant 7-0 win (10-0 on aggregate) over Stade Brestois on Wednesday night at the Parc des Princes.
Bradley Barcola opened the scoring in the 20th minute, extending PSG’s aggregate lead to 4-0. PSG kept the pressure on and doubled their lead in the 39th minute, thanks to Khvicha Kvaratskhelia.
After scoring twice in the first half, PSG exploded with three goals in just 10 minutes after halftime. Vitinha struck in the 59th minute to make it 3-0, and PSG kept piling on.
Five minutes later, Désiré Doué extended the lead to 4-0, and the scoring spree continued. Nuno Mendes capped off the quick-fire stretch in the 69th minute.
PSG wasn’t done yet. Gonçalo Ramos added another in the 76th minute after Doué set him up in the box. The final goal was one to remember for Senny Mayulu. His left-footed strike clipped Coudert’s fingertips, bounced off the post, and still found the back of the net—his first Champions League goal.
Éric Roy talks PSG’s chances against Liverpool or Barcelona

After the match, Brest manager Éric Roy spoke to the media and shared his thoughts on whether PSG stand a chance against FC Barcelona or Liverpool.
“PSG will have a great chance regardless of the opposition they face,” Roy said. “We faced Barça and PSG. I was impressed by Barça, but I am more impressed by PSG. Liverpool are a strong team, but for me, we haven’t faced anyone as strong as this PSG.”
