Paris Saint-Germain have been monitoring Bayern Munich midfielder Joshua Kimmich for months, even coming close to signing him last summer. Now, the Parisians are revisiting the opportunity, hoping to seal the deal this time around.
Journalists Christian Falk reported this week that PSG are showing strong interest in Kimmich as the veteran has yet to extend his contract with Bayern Munich.
The French champions targeted him last summer, but he turned down a move. Now, Paris has rekindled their interest. Inter Milan and Liverpool are also reportedly in the mix. Bayern and Kimmich are still in touch, and an extension with the club hasn’t been completely ruled out.
Arsenal look to edge PSG for Joshua Kimmich

Florian Plettenberg of Sky Sports reports that Arsenal has shown strong interest in Kimmich for several days and has held talks with him.
The Gunners are reportedly looking to sign him on a free transfer as a potential replacement for Jorginho. Kimmich has now received two written offers from abroad, one from the Premier League.

This is the main reason he is hesitant to sign a new deal with Bayern, which would extend his contract until at least 2028 with a salary of €20 to €22 million gross per year, per the report.
Kimmich has informed Bayern Munich about the offers. However, his camp says discussions with the club are still ongoing. A new contract with Bayern remains possible, but the club is only willing to negotiate a deal for the same salary or less, per Plettenberg.
