Since Qatari ownership took over Paris Saint-Germain, the club has always aimed to feature a superstar. Although they’re now putting more emphasis on developing young talent, they might still look for a standout player to lead this new path.

According to journalist Jorge C. Picon, if the right opportunity arises, PSG could pursue Vinicius Junior and make a big move to compete with Florentino Pérez and Real Madrid.

There hasn’t been a serious approach yet, and contact has been minimal, but PSG are watching his situation closely. Meanwhile, a report from Spain notes that Manchester United and Chelsea are also monitoring Vinicius’ status and could make a move if given the chance.

Real Madrid view the Brazilian forward as central to their future, but after he missed out on the 2024 Ballon d’Or—won by Rodri—speculation about a potential exit has started to build.

Recently a report from Spain noted that Manchester United, Chelsea, and PSG are interested in signing Vinicius but recognize that a deal will be expensive. Nonetheless, it seems that the Blues and Parisians are prepared to take the next steps in being serious landing spots for the Brazilian.

According to MARCA, Chelsea and PSG are interested in Vinicius, with Real Madrid officials set to meet his representatives in the coming weeks to discuss his future.

Madrid are eager to extend Vinicius’ contract, which currently runs through 2027, to secure one of their top talents for the long term. There’s no potential asking price for the Brazilian, but Transfermarkt puts his value at €200 million.
