Paris Saint-Germain’s decision to sign Randal Kolo Muani initially looked promising, bringing in a talented French player in his prime. However, things have not gone as hoped, and now there are growing rumors about his potential exit.

As the January transfer window approaches, intermediaries are reportedly sounding out interest from several Premier League clubs, including Manchester City, Manchester United, Arsenal, Chelsea, Aston Villa, and Newcastle United, regarding Kolo Muani’s availability, according to TBR Football.

L’Équipe notes that PSG has been disappointed with Kolo Muani’s performances and is considering letting him go, placing his value between €40 million and €50 million.

Newcastle, one of the clubs interested, views Kolo Muani as a viable option to possibly replace Alexander Isak. With speculation surrounding the Swedish striker’s future, the Magpies are actively looking for high-quality replacements to maintain their attacking strength.

Despite arriving at PSG with high expectations, Kolo Muani has not fully delivered, leading to frustration within the club and paving the way for a potential transfer.

Sky Sports Germany’s Florian Plettenberg reports that a transfer for Randal Kolo Muani in the upcoming winter transfer window is now possible.

PSG and the 25-year-old striker are considering options that would allow him more regular playing time. Multiple requests for a loan with an option to buy, particularly from Premier League clubs, have already been made.

He was on the bench for the full 90 minutes during the 1-0 victory over Lens on Saturday. Kolo Muani’s contract with PSG runs until 2028.

PSG invested €90 million in the forward, but how he’s performed over the last year. As a result, Football Transfer’s Robin Bairner believes that the Ligue 1 side will need to loan him out to bolster his profile.

“Selling Kolo Muani is going to be a difficult one for PSG as well because they bought him for so much money,” Bairner said on the latest PSG Talk Extra Time podcast. “How do you move on a guy like this? What might be a smart move for PSG to consider is loaning them out either to the Premier League or Bundesliga. We’ve seen them succeed in the Bundesliga before. There’s a whole bunch of French players who have gone from Liga to the Bundesliga, and particularly PSG.

I believe Hugo Ekitike scored a couple of goals again today and has been doing very well there. So I think there’ll be opportunities for him in the Bundesliga. He’s been offered to a number of clubs in England. Quite whether he’ll go to a team that would be willing to shell out for him, given his recent struggles, is questionable. But if there’s a mid-table team that’s maybe struggling, maybe somebody like Everton that needs a striker come January.
