Paris Saint-Germain have been adding more young talent to their center-back position this year following the arrivals of Lucas Beraldo and Willian Pacho. However, their work isn’t done there.

Marquinhos is 30 and Milan Škriniar isn’t part of manager Luis Enrique’s plans, so the morphing of the position will probably continue into next year’s transfer windows.

As part of their new transfer strategy, PSG has prioritized pursuing French talent to ensure they have enough representation of the country’s top talents. After years of players in the Paris region and Ligue 1 escaping to clubs abroad, the capital club want to avoid that from happening again.

Sevilla center-back Loïc Badé has seen his profile rise this year after playing a crucial role for France at the Summer Olympics. French national team coach Didier Deschamps recently called him up during the most recent international break, highlighting his growing importance in the squad.

With Badé now in the spotlight, it’s no surprise that several clubs are interested in acquiring him. According to reports from SPORT, Barcelona, Bayern Munich, Liverpool, and Paris Saint-Germain are all considering potential moves for the talented defender.

According to Spanish outlet Diario AS, Liverpool are keeping an eye on Loïc Badé as a potential replacement for the aging Virgil van Dijk. They actually scouted the French defender from Sevilla during the Barcelona-Sevilla match at Montjuïc last Sunday.

Despite the team’s 5-1 defeat, Badé stood out as the best player defensively and even delivered a fantastic 60-meter pass to Stanis Idumbo, who scored the team’s only goal.
