Paris Saint-Germain’s trip to the Pierre Mauroy Stadium couldn’t be going any better as they hold a 2-0 lead over Lille in the first half.
After Ousmane Dembélé won a penalty kick and Vitinha converted, PSG played some of the most spectacular football of the season with Bradley Barcola and Marco Asensio linking up for the second goal of the match.
Around midfield, Barcola sprinted into space and picked out Asensio in the midfield. Barcola continued his run as the Lille defender lost track of him and Asensio played a perfect ball back to the France international.
With the ball behind the Lille defensive line, Barcola lined up his shot and scored a goal very similar to the ones that Kylian Mbappé became known for. From the left wing, Barcola put his laces through the ball and curled a shot past Lucas Chevalier and into the back of the net.
Just three games into the Ligue 1 season and Barcola has already matched his goal output from last season. With the win, PSG would go clear at the top of the Ligue 1 table.
