Moreover, the starter to replace Donnarumma has been made. According to Le Parisien, Matvey Safonov is likely to start against Girona in Wednesday’s Champions League match.

The 25-year-old has experience as he was the starting goalkeeper for FC Krasnodar, making 175 appearances across all competitions for the Russian club. Additionally, Safonov recorded 53 clean sheets during his tenure there.
PSG’s offense is clicking, and it will be interesting to see if it translates to the Champions League to help Safonov further.
