Real Madrid Sensation Reveals What He Misses and Doesn’t Miss About His Time at PSG

Kylian Mbappé is in his first few weeks with Real Madrid, getting used to playing in La Liga and Spain. However, the Frenchman missed one thing about playing for Paris Saint-Germain and in France.

Mbappé opened his tenure with the Spanish side by scoring in the UEFA Super Cup against Atalanta, winning his first trophy. However, the player struggled as he didn’t score in his first three league matches.

As a result, there were hot takes about the 2018 FIFA World Cup winner, but this past weekend, the former PSG star calmed the waters after he scored a brace against Real Betis.

Following the victory, Mbappé noted what he misses about playing in France as a PSG player for the past eight years.

“Everything’s great,” Mbappé said (h/t Le10Sport). “Honestly, it’s a bit strange because I don’t speak much French anymore, and I miss it a little. But other than that, life is fantastic. The weather is beautiful, and I haven’t had much chance to explore since we’ve been traveling every few days.

“However, I feel a lot more at peace here. Back in France, being a French player came with a lot of love and pressure. Here, I’m just known as a Real Madrid player, which is cool and has made life a lot more relaxed for me.”

It will be interesting to see how PSG’s all-time leading goal scorer adapts to his new surroundings, but he’s past the first adversity test with Real Madrid and now will need to keep pushing forward.
