Paris Saint-Germain was close to cruising to a 3-0 win over Stade Rennais on Friday night. However, warts within the squad showed up, and it nearly jeopardized the match, which has one expert concern ahead of the UEFA Champions League match against Arsenal this upcoming week.

Bradley Barcola opened the scoring in the 30th minute, and in the second half, PSG extended their lead with a goal from Kang-in Lee in the 58th minute, followed by Barcola’s second of the night in the 68th minute to make it 3-0.

Rennes managed to pull one back and nearly made it 3-2, but Alidu Seidu’s goal was called offside after a VAR review in the 88th minute. The Parisians nearly made the contest more complicated than it needed to be.

As a result, CBS Sports’ Jonathan Johnson reveals that this is a significant concern with the Ligue 1 side heading into the Emirates Stadium.

“I think ultimately, the most concerning thing is that PSG always seem to find a way to leave themselves vulnerable to opponents, hitting them, especially after having taken the lead, having opened up quite a commanding lead, and then almost throwing it away at the end,” Johnson said on the latest PSG Talking podcast.
