Paris Saint-Germain are a young team with an average age of 23.3 years. As a result, it wouldn’t be a surprise that next summer, they bring in a veteran or two to help these players, especially players with experience who have won.
At 27 years old, Ousmane Dembélé is one of the older attacking players, so he holds the leadership role for the group. Moreover, the winger has won a FIFA World Cup, so he has a commanding voice.
Nonetheless, could PSG be looking to add another veteran winger to the young attacking group with a UEFA Champions League trophy in his cabinet?
El Nacional reports that PSG want to sign Mohamed Salah next summer, with his contract at Liverpool ending in 2025. This isn’t the first time that Salah’s name has been linked to the Parisians and he plays on the right side so it wouldn’t hinder Barcola’s development.
Furthermore, it could push Dembélé to that No. 10 role he has played under manager Luis Enrique. Still, this could also be a ploy from Salah’s camp to get a better extension from Liverpool.
We are months away from the 2025 summer window opening, but this rumor might be one to follow this season.
