After conceding the first goal in the matchup against Stade Brestois via a penalty kick, Paris Saint-Germain leveled the scoring thanks to a goal from Ousmane Dembélé in the 42nd minute.
Brest was close to heading to the dressing room with a 1-0 advantage over the home side. However, late in the first half, Marco Asensio provided a fantastic assist to Dembélé, who scored off a header to make it 1-1 and give PSG positive momentum heading into halftime.
