Bayern Munich’s Jamal Musiala, whose contract runs until 2026, is attracting interest from top European clubs. With just one year remaining on his current deal, the Bundesliga giants are prioritizing a contract extension to keep the 21-year-old star.
CaughtOffside recently noted that Liverpool have ramped up their interest in Musiala, with Manchester City, Real Madrid, and PSG also keeping an eye on him. Additionally, recent updates suggest Barcelona are also in the mix, eyeing Musiala as a potential signing for 2025.
Over the weekend, the Sunday Express reported that Musiala has turned down Bayern Munich’s latest contract offer. He’s reportedly looking for around £300,000 a week, leaving his future at the club in doubt.
With so many clubs showing interest, Sport1 reports that Bayern Munich are intensifying its discussions with Musiala about a contract extension.

Oliver Bierhoff recently spoke with L’Equipe and noted why Musial is very close to the best in the world and draws attention from many top European clubs.
“[Musial] has had an extraordinary development,” Bierhoff said. “He has become more consistent, more mature, and he has developed physically. You feel that he is a player who likes to have the ball, even in difficult moments.
“He is not afraid to take responsibility. Maybe he is missing one last step – to be consistent over time – to become a superstar.”
