Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Fabián Ruiz is shining brightly for the Spanish national team. After his impressive performances at UEFA Euro 2024, he’s continued his strong form into the UEFA Nations League.
Ruiz stole the show in Spain’s match against Switzerland on Sunday night at Stade de Genève. The 28-year-old scored twice, with goals in the 13th and 77th minutes, helping Spain secure another win.
While Ruiz is a key player for Spain, he hasn’t yet cemented his spot as a regular starter at PSG. As a result, two of the country’s biggest clubs might be eyeing him.
Diario SPORT reports that Barcelona are eyeing a move for Ruiz and might offer Frenkie De Jong to PSG as part of the deal. This news of the Catalan side’s interest in the Euro winner comes on the heels of a report also revealing that Real Madrid might be interested in the player.

Eduardo Inda said on the set of El Chiringuito that Ruiz is a player that Real Madrid like.
“There is a club he has always loved, and this club doesn’t dislike the player,” Inda said. “Real Madrid likes him and he would be interested in going there. He’s a footballer who wants to leave his current club because his relationship with the coach is bad.”
