Paris Saint-Germain will have their hands full when they face Arsenal on Tuesday night at Emirates Stadium. Moreover, one pundit spotlighted a player who could play a significant role for the Gunners against the Parisians.

The Premier League side will be heading into this match on a two-match win streak after victories over Bolton Wanderers and Leicester City. Manager Luis Enrique will need to worry about the entire squad, considering they’re third in the Premier League table.

Nonetheless, while manager Mikel Arteta has a talented team, talkSPORT’s Tony Cascarino noted that Leandro Trossard is vital to the North London side, hinting that he could play a prominent in the clash against the Parisians.

“Trossard is such a vital player, although he could be in and out of the team,” Cascarino said on Saturday on talkSPORT. “He’s one of them that always seems to have an assist or score a goal. He does it so often.

“Martinelli could play in front of him but if he’s called on, he’s got something about him that just goes, he’s going to do something and he does it regularly. He’s not the quickest, he’s not the most gifted, he’s not the biggest physically, but he absolutely has an ability to affect the game somehow.”

Trossard joined the English side in 2023, and he has made 75 appearances across all competitions, scoring 20 goals and registering 12 assists. Arsenal need to win in this matchup following a draw on Matchday 1 against Atalanta.

A draw or loss would keep the Gunners out of the eight spots that automatically qualify for the knockout stage. On PSG’s side, a draw or win would be the ideal result after an opening matchday win over Girona.
